Route 66 in 360 Degrees
Traveling the Mother Road Like Never Before
From Chicago to Santa Monica
Before the creation of the National Interstate Highway System, Route 66 connected the main streets of towns and cities, both large and small, from the Windy City of Chicago to the sun-swept beaches of Santa Monica, California.
Thousands of visitors made there way across the country, some looking for adventure, some searching for a new life.
Along the way, they were welcomed by an assortment of roadside hotels, restaurants, and attractions.
Some still exist, some have been reinvented, some only exist in our memories.
Using 360 degree images, You're invited to travel along the Mother Road, exploring many sights along the way.
From 1926 to 1985, the Will Rogers Highway, Route 66, served as the Mother Road, leading thousands of travelers across the country.
